Younger Children and Early Elementary
Day 13
READ: Ten ways to be perfect: Moses and the Ten Commandments, from Exodus 16-17; 19-40, p. 100-107.
ACTIVITY: Make a tablet of the 10 Commandments. Use clay and then bake it to make a hard stone like ornament, or use a Christmas ornament recipe, use gray construction paper, or whatever you have around.
For older kids: work on memorizing the commandments, post them in a busy place where you will see them all the time (fridge, bathroom, by your bed).
ORNAMENT IDEAS: Hang the commandment tablets you made.
This ornament reminds us that God gave us the best ways to live and Jesus came to show us how.
